.storage domain relaunched by XYZ

Portfolio registry XYZ.com is not only well-known for their .xyz extension, but also for several high-end domains like .theatre, .car and .security. Now, XYZ.com has announced that they have acquired the extension .storage. They will relaunch the domain from November 2017 on.

By the end of last year, .storage was put into the market as a domain extension aimed at companies involved in physical storage. That decision greatly reduced the target audience. For example, the ever-growing market of cloud-based and other online storage forms did no longer have access to .storage domains.

XYZ.com has totally revamped .storage. It will be a completely open extension, just like .xyz or .com, that anyone can register. As the word “storage” itself is quite specific, it will primarily appeal to its target audience, without the need for explicit restrictions.

The relaunch of .storage will start with a Sunrise phase for trademark holders from the 7th until the 28th of November. Following this, the Early Access Phase will take place between the 28th of November and the 5th of December. Finally, General Availability will start from the 5th of December. You will be able to directly register .storage domains from our Reseller Control Panel. Our support team is happy to help you with any questions you may have about this domain.
