This week, we are introducing you to Jesus (31), one of our Account Managers.
Tell us something about yourself!
My name is Jesus and I am from Seville, where I was born and raised. Currently, I work at Openprovider as an account manager. Apart from my professional life, I have a keen interest in sports, particularly football, and I am a proud supporter of Sevilla FC.
What does an average day in your role look like?
In the morning, I start by checking my emails and prioritizing any urgent requests or inquiries from clients. Next, I engage in proactive outreach to existing clients, following up on ongoing projects or discussing any new opportunities. Throughout the day, I also often participate in internal meetings or conference calls with the sales team or other departments within Openprovider to align our strategies and discuss ongoing projects.
In addition to client management and communication, I also work on generating new business opportunities. Moreover, as an Account Manager, I’m responsible for tracking and analyzing sales data and performance metrics. I regularly review sales reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and evaluate the effectiveness of our sales strategies. Building and maintaining strong relationships with strategic partners is another vital aspect of my role.
Typically, after wrapping up work, I take some time to unwind before heading to the gym. Once I return home, I have dinner and then dedicate around 20 minutes to watering my extensive collection of plants. I’m passionate about gardening and have quite a substantial number of plants in my care.
Which achievement (of yourself, your team, or the company) are you most proud of?
Among the various accomplishments, I am particularly proud of the team’s success in delivering outstanding results for the NUP program (“.COM program”). It has been a collective effort that has yielded impressive outcomes, and it fills me with pride to be a part of such an achievement.
What are your favorite things about working remotely? And is there something you like less about it?
One of the aspects I appreciate most about working remotely is the flexibility it offers. Being able to seamlessly transition from work to home without the hassle of commuting allows me to make the most of my day. Additionally, remote work provides a comfortable and familiar environment where I can focus and be productive. However, one potential downside is the lack of face-to-face interaction with colleagues. While digital communication bridges the gap to a great extent, I do miss the spontaneous and informal interactions that occur in a physical office space.
What do you like the most about working at Openprovider?
The best thing about working at Openprovider is the remarkable team we have. We foster an environment of respect and collaboration, where everyone’s contributions are valued. The collective knowledge and experience within the team allow us to continuously learn from one another, which ultimately leads to personal and professional growth. Being a part of such a supportive and knowledgeable team is truly a rewarding experience.
