Meet Team Openprovider: Ksenia

This week, we are introducing you to Ksenia (35), our Senior Recruiter!

Tell us something about yourself!

My name is Ksenia Edge and I’m a Senior Recruiter at Openprovider. I live in the UK in a beautiful small market town. My favorite thing is to stay active, so I love running, swimming, hiking, climbing, boxing, and just walking. I believe that a strong body makes the mind strong. I also like art, languages, and reading. Working from home is a great opportunity to make time for your hobbies and other things that you love.

What does an average day in your role look like?

My day starts with a short daily meeting with my lovely team, it’s really nice to catch up with them and start your day with a clear direction. Usually, during the day, I have several interviews with the candidates and some internal meetings with my colleagues from different departments. I also have some focus time to answer my emails, network on Linkedin, and work on our internal policies.

Which achievement (of yourself, your team, or the company) are you most proud of?

I’m definitely proud of all the talented and amazing people my team hired and onboarded. A lot of hard work and many hours of interviews were put into this. Now we have truly amazing and brilliant people from all over the world creating great things together. I’m really proud of that.

What are your favorite things about working remotely? And is there something you like less about it?

Remote work gives me the freedom to live the life that I want to live: to be where I want to be, to spend more time with my family, to exercise regularly as no time is spent commuting, and also to feel better and happier.

What do you like the most about working at Openprovider?

Wonderful people from all around the world, I never stop learning about different cultures and traditions. Other things I like are our supportive and encouraging management, our fun team games and activities, and the fact that anyone in the company can bring new ideas and have significant input.
