This week, we are introducing you to Gonzalo (35), one of our Account Managers!
Tell us something about yourself!
My name is Gonzalo Exequiel, and I was born in Santiago del Estero, a city in northwest Argentina. I am currently employed with Openprovider as an Account Manager. Among the things I like to do and enjoy in life are spending time with my family, participating in and preparing Argentinian barbecues, going out for dinner with my wife and our dog Takito, and, of course, traveling; I aim to visit and explore one or two different countries each year.
What does an average day in your role look like?
My day typically kicks off at 7 a.m. I prepare some Mate and have breakfast and by 8 a.m. I am already online, diving into my work. The first order of business is checking emails and Slack messages, with a keen eye for any urgent matters that need immediate attention.
Afterward, my focus is on maintaining a strong connection with my client accounts, nurturing ongoing conversations while actively seeking out new collaboration opportunities. Concurrently, I’m engaged in the challenging task of expanding Openprovider’s presence in the Latin American market, a venture I’m confident will yield positive results in due time.
Most of my workdays involve meetings and conference calls, spanning various Openprovider departments, as well as interactions with both current and potential clients.
Once I wrap up for the day, I enjoy quality time away from work, whether it’s taking a leisurely walk with my wife, spending time with my dog Takito, or heading out for a meal or a drink.
Which achievement (of yourself, your team, or the company) are you most proud of?
I’m particularly proud of our cohesive team dynamic. We function seamlessly, offering mutual support and fostering excellent chemistry. Success is a shared endeavor, and when one of us achieves something remarkable, we celebrate it as a unified team.
What are your favorite things about working remotely? And is there something you like less about it?
Working remotely has been a game-changer for me since I started back in 2013. It means I can set my own schedule, skip the daily commute, and save money. Plus, I find I’m more productive in my own workspace, with fewer distractions.
For me, the best part is the improved work-life balance. I can take short breaks and check on my family, and I have more time for working out or pursuing hobbies. It’s not just about work, it’s about my well-being.
On top of that, the opportunities that remote work brings are endless. I can work with diverse teams from all over the world, and have more autonomy in managing my tasks. It’s not just a job; it’s a chance for personal and professional growth.
Of course, there are challenges like potential isolation, but with the right communication and time management skills, it’s a trade-off I’m happy to make.

What I appreciate most about working at Openprovider are the exceptional people and the enriching culture they foster. The team here is not only incredibly helpful but also exceptionally diligent. It’s inspiring to collaborate with colleagues who are always ready to go the extra mile to support each other and our clients. This culture of teamwork and dedication makes every day at Openprovider a rewarding experience.
