Have you ever been curious to meet the people behind the domains? In this new series of blog posts, we are introducing you to various members of our global, fully remote team.

This week, we are introducing you to Christian (35), who has been with Openprovider for more than seven years.

Tell us something about yourself!

My name is Christian and I work in the support team, helping our customers to solve their problems and questions. I live in Terrassa, a city about 20 minutes from Barcelona, Spain. My biggest hobby is traveling and discovering new places, cultures, people, and gastronomy. In 2021, I left on a nine-month trip around the world, which was the most exciting experience of my life.

What does an average day in your role look like?

My main role is to make sure that customers are happy with the support service we offer them. So, in summary, my day is based on answering all the doubts that clients have and trying to solve (or escalate) all the problems, bugs, or improvements that they report to us. 

Which achievement (of yourself, your team, or the company) are you most proud of?

I joined Openprovider in 2015. Since then the company has grown a lot and become very important in the market. On a personal level, the moment in which I feel most proud is when a client thanks me for the work and the service I provided. In the end, we at the support team are helping our customers grow.

What are your favorite things about working remotely? And is there something you like less about it?

I love working from home. Obviously, I do miss the warmth of an office and the connections with colleagues. But working from home allows me to focus more (now that there are no kids at home yet), as well as having more flexibility. Being able to cook my own meals every day is great! And also, being able to work in pajamas 🙂

What do you like the most about working at Openprovider?

The best thing about working at Openprovider is the people in the support team, without a doubt. I also like the flexibility of being able to work from home and from anywhere. I was able to work for a month from Bali and it was amazing!
